biografía (bio)
Adriana Zehbrauskas was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her degree in Journalism and moved to Paris where she studied Linguistics and Phonetics at the Sorbonne Nouvelle.
She worked as a staff photographer for Folha de S. Paulo, in Brazil, for 11 years, traveling extensively troughout the country and abroad.
As a free-lancer, she contributes regularly to the New York Times. Her work has appeared in Newsweek, Time, Glamour Magazine, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Paris Match, Le Figaro, Elle U.S.A, The Wall Street Journal , among others.
Her photos are also featured in the books “ 24 Stunden im Leben der katholischen Kirche” ( 24 Hrs in the Life of the Catholic Church),
Random House , Munich 2005 and “In Search of Hope –
“The global Diaries of Mariane Pearl”, powerHouse Books, New York, 2007 and "The Day The World Stopped to Run - The Nike Human Race 10 K", published by Melcher Media, NY, 2008.
Her personal project is an essay on religion and faith in Brazil and Mexico and was awarded a Art & Worship World Prize by the Niavaran Artistic Creation Foundation.

and is currently based out of Mexico City.
